Welcome Message from our Executive Secretary

Welcome to NCAOOSC - Transforming Lives Through Education I am thrilled to welcome you to the official website of the National Commission for Almajiri Education and Out-of-School Children (NCAOOSC), a visionary initiative established by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Our journey began with the enactment of the Establishment Act in May 2022, and we are honored to operate under the esteemed supervision of the Federal Ministry of Education. NCAOOSC stands as a beacon of hope, committed to addressing one of Nigeria's most critical challenges - the plight of out-of-school children and the specter of illiteracy. Our mission is as ambitious as it is necessary: to provide a multi-modal system of education that not only eradicates illiteracy but also nurtures skill acquisition and entrepreneurship programs. We are steadfast in our dedication to preventing youth poverty, delinquency, and destitution, thereby paving the way for a brighter, more promising future for all Nigerian children. Our vision is clear: to create a nation where every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to quality education. We firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of personal and societal growth. It is the key that unlocks doors of opportunity, empowers individuals, and transforms communities. We recognize that we cannot achieve this vision in isolation. Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. We actively partner with local communities, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies. Together, we form a united front, working tirelessly to uplift our nation's future generations. As we embark on this transformative journey, our commitment to you is unwavering. We are dedicated to transparency, accountability, and the responsible use of resources. Your support and engagement are pivotal to our success, and we welcome your participation in this noble cause. I invite you to explore our website, learn more about our initiatives, and discover how you can get involved. Together, we can turn the tide of illiteracy, poverty, and despair. Together, we can pave the way for brighter tomorrows and the realization of the full potential of every Nigerian child. Thank you for joining us on this profound mission. Together, we are writing a new chapter in the story of Nigeria's youth, and the pages are filled with hope, opportunity, and empowerment. Warmest Regards Hon (Dr) Sha'aban Sharada, OON Executive Secre
